Alex Chowen

Alex Chowen is a Utah native who spent his formative years in Texas and Hawaii, gaining a deep appreciation for diverse communities and cultures. He currently serves as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Goldman Sachs, where he manages operating budgets for business units with a global footprint and partners with teams across three continents to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Outside of work, Alex is an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves skiing, camping, hiking, and spending as much time on the water as possible. He is passionate about fostering inclusion and belonging and is proud to support Equality Utah’s mission of advancing education, fairness, and dignity for all LGBTQ+ Utahns.
