Gavin brings extensive administrative expertise and a deep commitment to community service to his role at Equality Utah. His background in court reporting for the U.S. Army and experience as a paralegal have honed his organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex documentation. These qualities help ensure Equality Utah runs smoothly and effectively. Born and raised in Southern Utah, Gavin understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing our community across the state. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Utah, which informs his understanding of Utah’s political landscape. As a firm believer in the Equality Utah Way, Gavin is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone who interacts with our organization, regardless of their beliefs. He currently calls Salt Lake City home.
